Burns began her television career in 1995, playing the lead role of Peg of the spanish-language teenage show Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Burns was in the Baywatch team in 1998. After that, she was a part of the sequel to Baywatch: Hawaii rendition up until her pregnancy forced her to withdraw from the show.
